Sergio Aguero was his first La Liga appearance since May 2011, when he scored a hat trick against Mallorca for Atletico Madrid.

Sergio Aguero made his long-awaited Barcelona debut. Philippe Coutinho scored Philippe Coutinho’s first goal in nearly a year to win against Valencia.

After leaving Manchester City, Aguero moved to Barcelona but was injured.

With three minutes left, he came on just after Coutinho had secured Barcelona's victory.

To add to the goals of Ansu Fati (previous Liverpool forward) and Memphis Depay, this former Liverpool forward scored from close range.

Jose Gaya had provided the visitors with an early lead, but Fati marked his first time in nearly a year by scoring a goal shortly after. He fired home from the box's edge.

Fati was then fouled in the box, and Depay took the initiative to convert the penalty.

Coutinho scored the winning goal as Valencia tried to equalize.

Barcelona is currently at 15 points. Real Sociedad is five points behind.
