The aircraft section of NBAA-BACE is a big draw. The 2021 NBAA–BACE featured some of the most recent business aviation aircraft from both major OEMs and manufacturers. These are the 4 new business aviation aircrafts that I saw at the show.
Dassault Falcon 10X
Dassault Aviation unveiled the all-new Falcon 10X in May 2021. A full-size mockup of the aircraft was displayed at the 2021 NBAA–BACE. These are images from my trip.
The 10X is larger than the Falcon 8X, which has 3 engines. However, it only has 2 engines.
Dassault claims that the Falcon 10X's cabin will be wider than other regional jets. The cabin will measure 6 feet 8 inches tall (2.03m) and 9 feet 1 inch wide (2.77m). It will be almost 8 inches (20cm) wider than the largest purpose-built business jet currently flying.
The new fuselage for the 10X is almost 50 percent larger than that of the Falcon 8X. The fuselage will be lined with 38 large windows, making it the most bright cabin in business aviation. Dassault can create a completely customizable cabin design, which makes this design stunning.
The Falcon 10X has a range of 7,500 miles and will fly nonstop between New York and Shanghai, Los Angeles, Sydney, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Santiago. The top speed is Mach 0.925.
The Falcon 10X will be in service by the end of 2025.
Bombardier Global Express 7500
VistaJet Bombardier Global Express 7500 was the next plane I saw. It is currently the longest and most powerful Bombardier Global Express, with a 7,700 nm range. Global Express 7500, Bombardier's current flagship, is a strong competitor to Gulfstream G700.
The Global 7500 offers four living spaces, dedicated crew rest and a fully equipped kitchen.
The lounge area has 2 tables that can be used simultaneously for work and dining. I find this design particularly interesting. The fuselage is slightly wider than the Dassault Falcon 10X.
Global 7500 has a large window and remote control for all cabin features.
The rear of the plane has a full bedroom and a private library.
Cirrus Vision Jet SF150
The Cirrus Vision Jet, a strange-looking V-tail airplane with a single engine mounted at the top of its fuselage, is a Cirrus Vision Jet. The price listed is $3 Million.
The Vision Jet is a single-pilot airplane with 1,275 miles range. This was something that I was especially interested in. Fly as high as 31,000 feet while cruising at 305 km/h.
The G2+ version on display at the 2021 NBAA/BACE is the most recent.
The clean cockpit design and touch screen features were particularly appealing to me. The Vision Jet makes flying a lot more enjoyable.
With a removable console, the Cirrus Vision Jet can hold up to five passengers (three adults and two children) in its rear. You can customize it with only 2 seats for executives. (Max 7 passengers include single pilot)
HondaJet 2600
Honda Aircraft Company presented the HondaJet 2600 Concept at the indoor exhibition 2021 NBAAACE.
Honda Jet appears to have made the transition into a medium-sized long-range business aviation market with a single pilot, and it seems that Honda Jet has also advanced.
HondaJet 2600, the proposed light jet capable of nonstop transcontinental flight across America, has a range 2,625 miles.
It has a cruise speed of 450 knots, and a ceiling of 47,000 feet.
Honda declined to give a date for the launch of the prototype, even though it is still a concept plane.
We hope to see you at the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition.
Next year, NBAA/BACE will be returning to Orlando, FL, 18-20 October 2022.
Non-NBAA members and the public are invited to the event to view the latest business aviation aircraft, attend keynote sessions, and meet key industry leaders.
