There were many exciting announcements made and new sights revealed at DC Fandome this year. The Harley Quinns creative team sent an animated headline to the digital exhibition to let everyone know that animation is a process and takes time.

However, DC Fandomes short Harley Quinn segment didn't leave viewers completely dry. The sizzle reel, which showcases some of the events that will take place when the show returns, was surprisingly long. The finale of Harley Quinn's second season saw Harley finally get up the courage and tell Poison Ivy what she felt about her. This was enough to convince Ivy that Kite Man is dead and that she will elope with her clown girlfriend. The ending of Thelma & Louisey left some questions about Harley Quinn's future. However, the sizzle reel shows that the show will spend at least some time following Harley & Ivy as their relationship settles down.
There are many ways to interpret Harley and Ivys "eat, bang kill tour", but Jim Gordon speaks about it as if they will embark on a chaotic criminal spree that will put Gotham's other villains to shame. The teaser suggests that Harley Quinns third series will be a return to the familiar antics. But what's really exciting is how Amanda Waller, a new character, will be handled. Waller seems like a great fit for the show's tone and sensibilities. Although there is no information yet about when it will be available, Harley Quinn's third season will air on HBO Max sometime in 2022.
