The first 'Black Adam' clip is a brief, brutal glimpse at Dwayne Johnson's DC debut

It's brief, it's not sweet (but it's also pretty damn sweet), and Dwayne Johnson is flash-frying an armied aggressor to the bone. This is your first glimpse at Black Adam.
On Saturday, DC FanDome gave fans their first glimpse at the movie July 2022. We didn't see a trailer because it's still early. Instead. Johnson used the livestream's virtual platform to create a short clip in which his title character demonstrated his powers for the first-time.

The Black Adam star quickly shared the video via his Twitter account.

This clip is at the end. The rest introduces the cast. Pierce Brosnan, a former James Bond, plays Dr. Fate, Aldis Holge as Hawkman Quintessa Swindell is Cyclone, Noah Centineo Atom Smasher. Johnson's Black Adam is described by Hodge as "brutal and uncompromising" by Johnson.

Black Adam can be either a villain or an anti-hero depending on how the story is told. Black Adam is an ancient Egyptian prince, who was given his powers by the same Wizard who gave Billy Batson his alter-ego Shazam.

The DC Extended Universe version of the character is introduced in the 2022 movie. Johnson's Black Adam is reportedly set up to be the arch-enemy Zachary Levi's Shazam. It is not known if Levi will appear in the movie. Although it is possible, it is not certain that Shazam or Black Adam will fight in the sequel to Shazam! 2023 Shazam! Fury of Gods.
