DC's Milestone Heroes Are Teaming Up for a New Animated Movie

After many years of being in comics publishing limbo for so long, Milestone Comics' heroes made their triumphant return in 2021. This was part of DC Comics new initiative that revitalized the Milestone brand and brought classic characters such as Rocket, Icon and Static into the 21st Century. It makes sense that DC Comics would invest in Milestone comics at a time when it has been trying to highlight more stories featuring marginalized characters. However, DC Fandome this year made it clear that they don't plan to stop publishing books.
