The New Suicide Squad Game Shows Us How We'll Kill the Justice League

You might want to bring the Suicide Squad along if you are going to make a DC game about something that could only be described as a suicide mission.

Last year's DC Fandome event featured a stunning CG trailer for the long-rumored videogame Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This year, the Rocksteady Studios team, the developers of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, attended the event to show fans an inside look at the game.

Kill the Justice League is set in the same continuity of Rocksteadys Arkham Trilogy. This ended with Batman seemingly dying after a fun day at Wayne Manor. (Confusingly, Gotham Knights opens on a similar premise to Gotham Knights, even though they are not technically related). The trailer features Harley Quinn and Deadshot as playable characters. It also shows how the Squads mission of taking out members of the worlds greatest superhero team isn't just another level of evil, even for a cast full of villains. Braniac's latest invasion turns out to have netted the sinister cybernetic Being quite the asset. He has managed to seize the Justice League and make them his own, making Earth the last and most effective line of defense to Belle Reves best.

You should be prepared for anything, as the Man of Steel (and his friends) won't take it lightly. In 2022, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be released.
