The Flash Movie Teases Our Entry Into the DC Multiverse

Barry Allen is the fastest hot dog lover alive and will be racing head-first into the most crucial question in DCs upcoming movie multiverse: how many Bat-Dads do one person require?

Ezra Miller dropped by DC Fandome today to give us a sneak peak at the long-in-the making standalone Flash movie. The live-action film will allow DC to connect all its TV and film projects. This move was arguably influenced by the sneaky Miller appearance in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Barry's need for mentorship as he learns more about his power and his place in the Justice League sees him reach out to Batman (Ben Affleck), for guidance. Also... Batman (returning icon Michael Keaton). Why have only one Dark Knight? Oder even one Barry Allen.

We know that the movie will bring together two legendary cinematic Batmen together. Miller and the crew have remained silent on what multiversal shenanigans they can expect. There are rumors of Miller visiting the classic Batcave (and Keatons old Batmobile) and Sasha Calle playing Kara Zor-El, Supergirl before her adventures in the DC multiverse. Barry is responsible for a lot of the set-up, including a new suit that was first teased earlier in the year.

The Flash is written by Batgirl and Birds of Preys Christina Hodson. It also stars Ron Livingston (replacing Justice Leagues Billy Crudup), Zack Snyders Justice Leagues Kiersey Cllemons as Iris West and Maribel Verd playing Nora Allen. Rudy Mancuso plays an undisclosed part. It is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on November 4, 2022.
