Tesla Just Scrubbed the Cybertruck Prices, Specs from Its Website

After its release was delayed until next year, this announcement is now.
Cybertrucking with bad luck

Cybertruck feels cursed.

The vehicle has been relegated to a fantasy, from its unfavorable debut to its delayed release until late 2022. Tesla even removed the specs and price of the highly-anticipated vehicle entirely from its website.

According to Electrek, the changes were made to the website on Thursday night. It used to offer three configurations of the electric pickup trucks, but it has now removed them all and replaced it with one Buy Now button that requires a $100 down payment.

Cybertrucks' main page also lacks detailed specifications. The page only provides vague descriptions of the vehicle specs, such as its range of up 500 miles.

What's Happening

It's clear that Tesla has had to revise its prices for electric pickups due to the delay. It will take an extra year for the vehicle to be commercially available.

This means that they will need to adjust for inflation and price changes. As the company refines and reassesses the final product, it is likely that the specifications will be modified.

It was always difficult to predict the timeline and the low price. This is further demonstrated by the recent site edits and the delays.

They are working hard to make the Cybertruck even more useful, but they may be more focused on their new beer-making venture.
