Television Deals

LG Photograph

There are a surprising number of TVs on sale this weekend. This makes it an excellent time to get a new TV for the cold season.

The LG C1 OLED TV is one of the most beautiful you will find. It has organic LED technology, which means that every pixel acts like its own backlight. This means you get perfect black levels. This TV can run at 120 hz refresh rates at 4K and has super low input latency. It will easily double as a gaming monitor. Amazon also has a 48-inch model for sale. We recommend the larger version, but we do not recommend it.

TCL 6-Series TVs are our favourite TVs. This is why we recommend this deal, even though it is a small discount. Quantum dot technology is bright and vibrant colors. The onboard Google TV interface works well, and the Mini LED backlighting provides excellent contrast.

Although the 5-Series is less expensive, it also features quantum dot technology as well as Google TV. However, it does not have the mini LED backlighting that allows for better contrast. Although the price of the 5-Series will drop more on Black Friday, this isn’t a good year to wait.

Audio Gear

There are tons of great deals this weekend on audio gear, from headphones to soundbars.

AirPods Pro were on sale for $192 since what seems like forever. We were able to find a discount! These are the best wire-free earbuds available for iOS users, and the Cupertino company took a very steep cut. You can also find them at Walmart.

These are still our favourite wireless earbuds, but the Galaxy Buds2 has brought about steep discounts for older Galaxy Buds Pro models (9/10, WIRED Recommended). These buds are better than the Buds2 in sound, noise-cancelling, and appearance.

These noise-canceling headphones by Jabra may be the solution for you if you have been experiencing background noise. They are super comfortable, have excellent battery life, and are even water-resistantperfect for rainy day dog walks.

JLab makes affordable wireless earbuds that are great value. The Icon Air was twice the price of their Icon Air counterparts. These are great if you're looking for a pair that you don't have to worry about.

Polk's React soundbar series (8/10, WIRED Recommends), is great because you can slowly build a modular system. This centerpiece is $199 and Alexa-enabled. Then add Polk's surround speakers, subwoofer, and amplifier to create true 5.1 surround sound. Amazon also has it for sale.

The Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar system (8/10 WIRED Recommends), includes a large number of drivers, two surround speakers, and a subwoofer. You only need to connect a power cable and an HDMI cable to the TV to pair wireless speakers. You can also purchase it at Walmart. You can also find more options in our guide to the Best Soundbars.

Gaming and PC

This is a great time for a new gaming monitor and headset, or to update your lighting for video calling.

We love HyperX's gaming headphones. They have comfortable earpads and good-sounding microphones. Although they aren't cheap, this is still a great deal. This pair is a great choice.

This gaming monitor, measuring 27 inches, comes with 4K resolution, Nvidia's G-Sync, and AMD Freesync. It will sync perfectly with your graphics card. The design is sleek and diamond-shaped, with a height-adjustable stand.

Although it doesn't have as sleek a design as the HP Omen, the LG monitor is great for gaming with Nvidia GSync and AMD Freesync. It's stable thanks to its curved bottom, but if your desk is small we recommend a better mount. B&H Photo can also special order it.

For many generations, the Dell XPS has been a favorite laptop thanks to its lightweight, portable design, excellent screen and long battery life. It comes with a 256GB solid state drive, 8GB of ram, an Intel Core i5 processor. Although it isn't the fastest laptop, it is a great buy for students and those who just need a simple laptop to do their work.
