Kliff Kingsbury tests positive for COVID-19, to miss Arizona Cardinals' game against Cleveland Browns

TEMPE (Ariz.) -- Kliff Kingsbury, Arizona Cardinals coach, will not be able to play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns because he tested positive for COVID-19. The team made this announcement Friday night.
Positive tests will also cause the withdrawal of Cam Turner, Quarterbacks coach, and Zach Allen, defensive tackle.

Vance Joseph, defensive coordinator, and Jeff Rodgers (assistant head coach/special team coordinator), will share the head coaching responsibilities on Sunday.

This week, the Cardinals placed outside linebacker Chandler Jones on their reserve/COVID-19 roster. Kingsbury stated that Jones' positive test result and the impact COVID-19 has on the Cardinals' 2021 season was "just the way it is." For a while, we've been fully vaccinated.

Arizona, the NFC West leader, is at 5-0.
