Let Kingo's Finger Guns Point the Way to a Spate of Eternals Goodness

It seems like millennia passed since Marvel Studios announced that the Eternals, a little-known group, would be featured in their own movie. The movie is now less than a month away. But there's still much hype. You can check out a new clip, a very stylish guide to the Eternals, and just a glimpse of Kumail Nanjiani, who is simply amazing.

Let's start with the clip. It is called Run and it is an extended version of the trailer scene where the Eternals rescue a young boy from the Deviants.

I assumed that the clip was called Run because Ikaris (Richard Madden), or Kingo (Nanjiani), would tell the child to run. But it clearly refers to Makkari (The Walking Deads Lauren Ridloff), which she uses in order to save the child and to spirit the other primitive humans under attack to safety.

Makkaris unfortunately not featured in these small, but stylish bio videos from the MarvelHQ YouTube channel. The Eternals are not well-known in either the Marvel Cinematic Universe nor the real world, so you might spend your time doing other things. Heres Sersi (Gemma Chan), Ajak, and Kingo

Kingo and Ajaks were also on Jimmy Kimmel Live last evening to promote the film, and talk about Keanu's ass. They also talked about Kingo's superpower, as you can see in this clip, which is, unquestionably, finger guns. This was a term Chlo Zhao used on set (it starts at 8.45 in the video).

My head has always known that these actors are required to do some crazy things in order to produce footage that is augmented with VFX. The idea that Kumail Nanjiani pretends his hands are guns for the entire filming process is insane. It will be impossible for me not to think about this every time Kingo blows up something in Eternals. You are welcome! Eternals will be in theaters November 5th.
