Adele talks about the meaning behind 'Easy on Me' as if she's having a cuppa in your kitchen

Adele, the internet's bezzie friend, is back! If you were not heartbroken and wallowing in your emotions before "Easy On Me", you will likely be duping someone before the day is over just to feel something.
But what is the song really about? Well hun, here to explain it is the woman, the icon, the heartbreak-nurse-in-chief, the nation's BFF Adele on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Greg James.

Adele says that it was her first song from the album. She started work on it in 2019, after a four- or five year hiatus.

She explains that she made decisions in her life that were well documented over the past few years, referring to her divorcement.

"I certainly started some fights with other people after my relationship with my son’s dad. I am not usually confrontational, but you can initiate an argument and then be like, "Well, hang on, take it easy on me." As I'm trying to find my feet in a situation, please bear with me.

Although the song is about Adele's difficult times, it brought her positivity.

She says that there is something hopeful and sad about the album. It was obvious that I cried when I wrote it and sang it for the recording. It has a sense of hope that gives me hope, as I was struggling to find my feet at the beginning of 2019.

Excuse me, while I squint my eyes.
