Steven Bertolino is the representative of the Laundries. He tells TMZ... “Dusty relics such as that Dog or John Walsh need a tragedy like this to clear their names and feed their publicity hungry egos."

We've already told you that Brian's dog, Dog, joined the manhunt and trekked through remote areas of Florida. He even broke his ankle.
Dog has seen TV offers begin to roll in. Multiple networks have expressed interest in reviving the show.

Bertolino was also asked if Dog interferes with the official investigation by showing up unannounced to Brian's sister’s house. He replied, "That's for law enforcement."
John is the host of "America's Most Wanted". He has a TV special on the Petito case, and the search for Brian.
