William Shatner was launched to space on October 13, 2021.
The original Captain Kirk, an iconic actor in "Star Trek", launched with three of his crewmates aboard NS-18, Blue Origin's second crewed spaceflight.
Shatner, 90, broke a record for being the oldest person to launch into space. He launched alongside Audrey Powers (Blue Origin vice president of mission and flight operations), and two paying passengers: Glen de Vries (Vice Chair for Life Sciences and Healthcare at French software company Dassault Systmes) and Chris Boshuizen (co-founder of Planet, an Earth-observation company).
