Don't be surprised if you haven't heard of Amazon Vine. Vine is a program that allows members to review Amazon products and receive free products in return for honest reviews.
Vine is a program where trusted reviewers can write reviews about new and pre-released products. This helps customers make informed purchasing decisions. Amazon provides Vine members free products, but Amazon doesn't allow Amazon sellers to influence reviews.
Amazon Vine is only available to invited individuals. You can't even apply to be considered. Amazon does keep an eye on reviewers who are prolific and offers them the chance to join the Vine program.

Amazon offers an Early Reviewer Program that allows customers to review relatively new products and help them make informed purchases.
The Early Reviewer Program is different from Vine, where select customers are invited into a program and then are sent products to review. Instead, people who have purchased a product are asked to review it.
This program helps to generate honest reviews for products with few reviews. Amazon randomly selects customers who purchased the product recently. This eliminates anyone who may have published abusive or dishonest reviews. Potentially biased customers, such as sellers or their family members, are not eligible.
After a review has been published, early reviewers receive gift cards. These are usually of small value like $1-$3. You can't apply for Amazon to review your Vine profile. However, Amazon will contact you if it is interested in offering you the chance to participate.

There are many other places you can find information about discounted and free products. There are many active Facebook groups. Some are public and some are private. They post regular stories about cheap and free products and other money-saving tips.
