How to use Safari extensions on your iPhone and iPad

Browser extensions are one of the most useful types of software. These little applets allow your browser to do the things you want. One of the best things about iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 is the ability to add extensions to your Safari browser. This is a new feature, but there are many useful extensions that you can add.
This article will explain how to add extensions in Safari. We've shown the process with an iPhone but you can also use the same basic steps with an iPad. We also have a selection of extensions that you might like to try.

How to add extensions

Scroll down and choose Safari > Extensions.

After you have installed your first extension you will see a little puzzle icon in Safaris address bar. You can tap that to open the Manage Extensions menu. This allows you to toggle between extensions on or off.
