The NBA's 75th Anniversary Celebration has seen the release of a season-long calendar. It shows a detailed uniform schedule for each team on the Locker Vision website.
There will be 123 uniforms worn across the league during the 2021-22 regular-season, with each team receiving four jersey editions: Statement, Icon and City.
The four core jerseys will be replaced by the five "Classic edition" uniforms. This will include three of the original league franchises, the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors (then Philadelphia), and the Boston Celtics. Each team will unveil its retro-inspired jerseys next Tuesday, drawing inspiration from their 1947-era uniforms. The Knicks will be the first to debut them, followed by the Warriors and Celtics on October 21.

For the diamond anniversary, the Nike Swoosh logo will be featured on the chest, shorts, and back. The NBA logos on size tag and back will also feature iridescent texture detailing and embellishments.
Christopher Arena, senior vice president of NBA identity, outfitting, and equipment, stated that 94% of regular season games will use a unique combination of court and uniform designs with a very limited number of repeats.
Arena stated that Locker Vision provides a 30,000-foot view for every [jersey] edition.
Initially, Locker Vision was an internal platform that allowed teams to choose their home uniforms for the season. The visiting teams then made their road jersey choices. The team equipment managers can also input specific "pro-cut" uniform sizes for each player, making it easier in the case of a midseason transaction or trade.
Locker Vision was created in 2018 by Nike as a public portal that fans can access. It became the official outfitter of the NBA for eight years and cost $1 billion.
The website's season-specific design breakdowns are included, as well as the court designs for each match. The website lists all accessories for the team, including warm-up and towel designs and colors.

Arena stated that this season's jersey selection has been three years in making. The leaguewide look for the 2022–23 and 2023-24 seasons are almost complete as well.
Every Locker Vision uniform preview photo shows a player template wearing a Nike prototype sneaker. It is not yet released. The NBA removed its color restrictions starting with the 2018-19 season. Players can now wear any color shoe on any night.
Arena stated, "It's been a chance for the players to express their individuality and partner their footwear manufacturer in telling a more unique story that interests them." Arena said that the sneaker culture has accepted it and people are eager to see it.
The Christmas Day lineup will be used by Nike and the NBA to showcase the latest City edition jerseys. Only the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns and NBA will be wearing the same City jerseys from their previous seasons. The remaining 28 teams will unveil new "hyperlocal City" looks later in the fall.
In addition, the Jordan Brand Jumpman logo was not used on uniforms or socks by the Charlotte Hornets during the initial three seasons of the Nike partnership. Since last season, the Jumpman has been featured on all 30 Statement jerseys.
Arena stated, "As we were discussing the partnership and where Jordan Brand could be more involved, the idea of the Statement edition, Michael Jordan, and how Jordan played and was making statements on the court seemed to fit." Arena said, "When [players] wear that on their chests, it kind of locks in that statement mindset."
