TikToker makes a meal out of her husband's lucky Asian arowana pet fish to teach him a lesson

A TikTok viral shows an Indonesian woman cooking expensive fish for her husband to protest his indifference.

A wife's frustration: This video was posted Oct. 8. TikTok user Mia Kurniawan (@miakurniawan01), is seen scaling and seasoning the arowana, which can be as high as $300,000. Then, she deep-fries it to teach her husband a lesson.

AsiaOne reports that Kurniawan said in an accompanying text that Kurniawan kept promising to clean the aquarium even after I had told him. It would taste great fried.

She declares that the fish is already cooked and ready for eating, and she shows it to her audience. The video ends with her index and thumb making a heart gesture.

Kurniawan's husband, Kurniawan, forgave her in the following TikTok videos she created as a response to comments by netizens. She is now looking to purchase a new pet arowana.

All about the fish: According to NextShark, Kurniawan Fried is an Asian arowana. It is the most expensive fish in the world.

The Asian arowana is also known as the dragonfish and is found in the freshwaters of Southeast Asia.

Many Asian households believe that the glimmering red or gold scales bring luck.

It is a symbol for wealth and prosperity in Japan and China. They are collected by middle-class Chinese men in the same way that they collect cars.

Asian arowana can also be entered in fish beauty pageants. The cost of cosmetic surgery such as eyelifts or chin jobs can be between $60 and $90.

Because the Endangered Species Act protects the special fish, it cannot be brought into the United States.
