Foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are finally giving smartphone fans what they want

Being a tech geek for many decades, I have always wanted to see the futuristic technology shown in TV and movies. Augmented reality experiences such as the floating screens from Minority Report or Tony Stark's AI assistant, Jarvis, in Iron Man are still far from being fully realized. With smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 we are closer to sci-fi gadgets in the cinema. Yes, I know that not everyone likes movies that showcase far-fetched tech ideas. They may not be interested in seeing those ideas become a reality. For those who are interested in seeing what's on the silver screen for decades, there's a lot to look forward to. The Galaxy Z 3rd generation smartphones are the best folding phones. They offer an almost perfect user experience, which is why they are so popular. Although I said "near-perfect", there are still many improvements that can be made in both the hardware and software. These are the first smartphones sci-fi lovers would consider buying. However, they are so complete that even regular people can enjoy them. These phones are more expensive than the traditional smartphones, but users no longer have to compromise to get a phone like this.

While I love the foldable phones that we have, the experience of seeing these products in person has made me look forward to the future. Other than other manufacturers joining the fold, there may be other forms of phones that are even more appealing. We know that Samsung plans to rollables, as well as TCL and other brands such Honor and Huawei. These advances in personal tech are truly amazing and feel more real than ever. For those who want them, there will always be the familiar rectangular slab smartphone. For those who want something different, something that is not only distinctive in appearance but also allows for new uses, foldable smartphones are finally satisfying tech lovers. I am grateful that some companies are willing to take chances and look beyond the camera on their phones. They push the boundaries of what is possible.
