Fiji will reopen to vaccinated travelers from these countries in December

Fiji will reopen to fully-vaccinated travellers on December 1, and flights from the USA are available.
On September 16, Josaia Voreqe Basimarama, Prime Minister, stated that Fiji's borders would open in the next few years. She also said that Fiji was working hard for the benefit of the thousands of Fijians and their families who depend on our tourism industry. Reopening the borders of Fiji depends not only on our vaccination rates, but also on other countries' vaccination rates. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. Fiji Airways, the country's national airline announced on October 11 that flights between the US & Fiji will resume on December 1. This will allow overseas tourists to travel for the first time since more than 20 years. Beginning November 30, the carrier will be offering daily flights to Los Angeles, five flights per week from San Francisco and two flights per week from Honolulu.

Travellers from partner countriesAustralian, New Zealand and the USA, Canada, Germany and Spain will be able skip quarantine if they have a negative RTPCR test three days prior to departure. They can also complete a rapid test at the hotel 48 hours following arrival.

Tourism Fiji reports that 80 percent of Fiji's adults were fully vaccinated as of mid-October. Faiyaz Koya, the tourism minister, stated in a press release that it has been nearly two years since international visitors arrived. We have struggled, adapted and prepared over the past two years.
