LSU Tigers' star receiver Kayshon Boutte to miss remainder of season with leg injury

Coach Ed Orgeron announced Monday that Kayshon Boutte, LSU's star receiver, will be out for the remainder of the season due to a leg injury.
Boutte's nine touchdowns this year are tied for most in FBS. However, Boutte was injured during Saturday's loss at Kentucky.

In his eight last games, the sophomore has reached the end zone 13 times since last season.

Orgeron informed reporters Monday that Boutte would be available for Saturday's match against Florida. Later, Boutte confirmed that Boutte was done for the season.

Orgeron stated that defensive end Ali Gaye and Major Burns, as well as defensive lineman Joseph Evans, will be absent from the game.

LSU fell to 3-3 after Saturday's defeat to Kentucky.

The Tigers have a record of.500 since winning the 2019 national championship.
