Former UFC star Chuck Liddell arrested on domestic violence charge

Chuck Liddell, UFC legend, was arrested Monday morning on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Information Bureau, officers responded to a call about a domestic disturbance in Hidden Hills at around midnight Monday morning. Deputies took Liddell into custody after determining that there was a physical altercation. According to the SIB.

The SIB stated that Liddell was being held at Lost Hills Sheriff's Station while he is on $20,000 bail. According to online records, Liddell was booked shortly before 2 a.m.

Liddell representatives did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Liddell (51), was inducted into UFC Hall of Fame 2009 and is the UFC's most-sold pay-per view draw. He was a former UFC lightweight champion and has won victories over Tito Ortiz (Wanderlei Silva), Tito Ortiz, Vitor Befort, and Tito Ortiz.

Liddell, better known as "The Iceman", retired from UFC in 2010. He returned to the cage under the Golden Boy Promotions banner in 2018, fighting against his old adversary Ortiz. Ortiz defeated Liddell in the first round. In four consecutive bouts, KO/TKO stopped Liddell.
