Walmart Grocery Pick-Up Codes Grocery Even If The Store Doesn't
It is the little wins that matter in these difficult times. You might find it useful to me to share the smallest wins, but this could be a great tool for social distancing. For many reasons, curbside pickup has become more popular than ever. Points earning is more difficult than ever, as we don't have the time to travel much. It is now more important to earn the maximum for every purchase that you make. Did you know that American Express cards can be coded as grocery when you use Walmart Grocery Pick up? Even if the store doesn't code it as grocery, it happens. It's a nice perk to get your groceries outside, away from other people.

You may have noticed that most Walmart stores don't code as grocery shops if you've ever shopped at one of their locations or on the Walmart website. While some Walmart Neighborhood Markets may code as grocery stores, most locations don't.
This is the best thing about Walmart Grocery. The app allows you to make purchases online or through the app. Because it is billed through another department, it codes as grocery with American Express. Wanderlust Duo had already let me know about this feature a while ago. It was something I had been thinking about and I decided to give it another try since grocery pick-up is my main mode of transportation these days. It worked on both the Surpass Hilton card as well as the Everyday Preferred card. Both cards were properly coded. This means that the Amex Gold card should also code 4X. If you'd prefer curbside pickup during these difficult times, this is a nice little boost.
It was completely hands-free on my last trip. You can tell them that you don't want to sign their handheld, and they will. This should reduce the risk for both of you.

Dosh, along with a few other cash back apps, may have Walmart Grocery. You can get 2% back on most of them so make sure you add these before placing your order for more savings.
