A former aide said that Donald Trump is slimmer and happier since he left the White House.

Jason Miller stated that Trump was citing the lack of a 24/7 White House Kitchen as one reason

Miller said that Trump also enjoys being a sideline influencer in GOP politics by his endorsements.

According to Jason Miller, Trump's former advisor, he lost weight because he doesn't have 24-hour access the White House kitchen.

Miller spoke with GB News, a British TV station, and described Miller as "a lot happier" than the president he was before he left the White House in January. He also said that Miller is "tanned" after leaving.

Miller claimed that he visited Trump in Florida recently and discussed his well-being.

Miller answered a question about Trump's weight by saying that Trump cited his "not having the kitchen available 24/7...a little bit golf and a lot of endorsement."

This last point seems to refer to Trump's attempts to project his power by endorsing candidates who support his politics or seek to unseat his enemies.

An unnamed Trump advisor said to Insider's Tom LoBianco in April that Trump had "lost fifteen pounds" since leaving the White House.

Miller stated that Trump had lost between 20 and 25 pounds since January in a GB News interview.

According to ABC News, Trump's June 2020 physical examination revealed that he weighed 244 pounds. This is more than the clinical threshold for obesity.

Previous reports have detailed the White House's constant food production. HuffPost was told last year by a former pastry chef who worked there from 2006 to 2014. He said that his team was always available.

"In theory we were working 24/7," Bill Yosses stated, but he claimed that no president ever asked for a midnight snack.

Trump doesn't seem to have much spoken about the White House 24-hour service, even though he has expressed his love for junk food and sweets in the past.
