'Enjoy it': Fauci says it's safe for Americans and their children to trick-or-treat and celebrate Halloween

Dr. Anthony Fauci advised Americans to enjoy Halloween as it is most celebrated outside.
Recently, the average daily US COVID-19 case count fell below 100,000 for only the second time since August.

Fauci claims that 68 million Americans are still unvaccinated.

Dr. Anthony Fauci stated that the US COVID-19 cases were moving in the right direction and that Americans should be able to enjoy Halloween festivities such as trick-or-treating.

"I believe that you can go out, especially if you are vaccinated. Fauci stated that you are outdoors most of the time, or at least when your children were trick-or-treating. This is a time that children love. It is an important part of the year that children love.

The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases advised Americans not vaccinated to get a dose before Halloween. This will provide protection for their families and communities. He cautioned Americans not to declare victory prematurely against the coronavirus as 68 million Americans are still unvaccinated.

"On one hand, we want to celebrate the fact that we're moving in the right direction. Fauci stated that if you look back at the history of cases' surges and decreases over time, you can see how they can rebound."

CNBC reported that Thursday's average daily number US COVID-19 case numbers fell below 100,000 for first time since August.
