Raphael Varane: Man Utd defender injured for France in Nations League final

Varane had played all 90 minutes of his team's Nations League semifinal win over Belgium.

Raphael Varane, Manchester United's defender, was injured in France's Nations League final defeat to Spain.

The 28-year old fell holding his leg. Dayot Upamecano replaced him in the 43rd minute.

Varane started six United games this season, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already lost Harry Maguire due to a calf problem.

United will be next in action Saturday, when they travel to Leicester City for the Premier League.
