Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints' quarterback, was taken off the field by Washington Football Team after taking an injury to his helmet.

He was then ruled out due to a concussion.

Hill was a multifaceted playmaker in the Saints' first four years of his NFL tenure. He accumulated 22 touchdowns across 53 games, including seven receiving, 11 rushing and four passing.

In the offseason, his focus shifted to quarterback with Drew Brees' retirement. But Jameis Winston was the winner of the job as the starting quarterback.

In his broad-ranging role in 2021, he has so far recorded two TDs.

After being undrafted, the 31-year-old BYU product is still in good shape. He arrived in New Orleans in 2017 and has been with the team ever since. In the last three seasons, he has been in every game.

Winston will take over all the quarterback snaps in case Hill is injured. Trevor Siemian will be promoted to the backup position on the depth chart.

Hill has been a valuable contributor to the Saints offense in many ways over the years but he is still determined to be a good quarterback. He would not be able to reach his goal if he was forced to miss too much time because of injury.
