The Animaniacs had a new season last year on Hulu. It was nostalgic but it wasn't clear who it was for. The new episodes are only a month away, and you may not be disappointed by the first glimpse of season 2.

The clip below features the Warner siblings mocking Thundercats. It was premiered at the series New York Comic-Con panel 2021.
The 80s Cats skit was funny enough, even if Paulsen can perform the Thundercats, OOOOOOOOO! quite well. The song is also catchy, in the same way as most Animaniacs songs, but it feels like a joke that's too late. After the conclusion of the hilarious Thundercats Roar, the Thundercats are now stuck in a strange cultural limbo. The 2011 anime reboot. It may have been more painful if the joke was made at the time of Roar, or if people were still discussing the movie that might be coming out in 2011, The Warners, Pinky, and the Brain will continue to do what they love during the 13-episode new season: make pop culture references and create cartoony chaos in an attempt to take over the world.
According to an io9 press release, the only confirmed return characters are Starbox, the alien, and Cindy, the human girl who believes he is a strange-looking animal. Although the press release teases some of the characters that were left behind, it does not provide any further information. Perhaps it will bring back characters from the original series like Slappy Squirrel. Do we need to wait for season three?
