British Vogue spoke to Adele that her family moved to LA because of the cost of LA real estate.

"The house I own in LA is the kind I couldn't afford in London. She said, "Ever."

Adele has three properties in Los Angeles that cost $30 million each.

Adele moved from London to Los Angeles many years ago. She recently spoke out with British Vogue about how pricey realty was a major motivator.

Adele spoke with Giles Hattersley about her decision to relocate with Simon Konecki and Angelo, their 9-year old son, for better quality of their lives in an interview.

She said she spent most of her time in London "in a car" or "inside a building." She wanted to be somewhere where she could "see the sky and get fresh air."

The singer said that LA was the best place to live and added that LA is "the kind of home I would never be able to afford in London." Never.

Hattersley challenged Adele's statements, but Adele stood firm. "No, I looked at houses. It's hundreds of millions of pounds. It's not enough money. She said, "I'd throw up."

Adele has three mansions in Los Angeles that are located next to each other. According to The New York Post, the homes have a British-chic vibe and cost $30 million each.

Insider reported that she bought her first LA home in 2016 for $9.5million. She's bought two additional homes since then, each one costing around $10 million. Konecki lives in one home so that the family can stay together for Angelo, Adele stated in the interview.

Adele does not have a large, three-house London compound, but she did tell British Vogue that she has real estate there that was "very European".
