A New Peacemaker Video Examines John Cena's Socially Awkward Murderer

John Cenas Peacemaker, a weirdo and anti-heroes from The Suicide Squad is the one Warner Bros. hopes will be the most popular. James Gunn, director, got a spinoff series to portray the character before the movie was even released. DC Fandome will be giving us the first look at the buff, anti-hero next weekend. Here's a new video to look into the toilet-head-wearing murderer.

Gunn describes Gunn's toxic masculinity as toxic at its worst and a douchey Captain America who would shoot Cena kids. The video won't reveal anything new. You've seen The Suicide Squad and you know that he is a tight-fitting, petulantly argues about who's better, and loves killing people. It's also interesting to watch Cena discuss his flawed character. Cena states that he is socially awkward. It's as simple as the way his uniform hits the head. The man truly believes he is a hero, and wants the Peacemaker logo to be on everything.

Although the video is primarily about Peacemaker's sloppy behavior, it does take time to highlight Cenas comedy acting skills. Gunn describes him as the best improv he's ever worked with. David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), called Cenas comedy skills his greatest strength. Cena, as Steve Agee (King Shark), recalls, was able to learn piano while filming. Cena also had to learn to slice people using a sword and high heels. Gunn stated that Peacemaker still had much to learn from the Suicide Squad movie. Although he wouldn't be the first person to change his ways, his handlers might have a lot of work ahead of them due to how bizarre and openly murdered he was.

Peacemaker will be available on HBO Max starting January 2022. Blu-Ray will release The Suicide Squad on October 26.
