After running over a man, a Minnesota woman was arrested for murder.

Landis Rachel Hill (31), told police that the incident occurred after the man robbed her, she and her boyfriend. KSTP-TV reported that the report cited a criminal complaint.

Al Rakip J. Zaidi, 21 years old, was the man identified.

According to reports, a Minnesota woman was arrested for murder after hitting a man with her vehicle. She claimed that he had robbed her just moments earlier.

Landis Rachel Hill (31), and Christopher Dwayne Grayson, her boyfriend were arrested in connection with the death of a 21-year-old male earlier this week, KSTP-TV reported.

Local police stated that they responded to a call at a Saint Paul intersection where a man lay on the ground on Tuesday morning around 4:30 AM. Police found that the man was unresponsive and had suffered severe head trauma.

Hill, in a criminal complaint that KSTP-TV obtained, stated that Grayson and she were asleep in her car when they were robbed by Al Rakip J. Zaidi.

Hill claimed that the man stole a cell phone, money, and her car from Hill and ran away when Hill confronted him.

Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports that Hill chased Zaidi with her Ford Expedition 2001, while Grayson pursued Grayson with a baseball bat. According to the outlet, Hill claimed that she drove after Zaidi and hit him with her Ford Expedition.

The couple drove to the local police headquarters later that day and reported on what had happened. According to the newspaper, Hill said that she was tired of people taking her stuff. Hill's boyfriend claimed that they had been robbed in the same area during the summer.

On Wednesday, Hill was arrested for second-degree murder as well as criminal vehicular homicide. According to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, Grayson wasn't charged because there was insufficient evidence.
