11 Trans Comedians to Watch If You're Tired of Dave Chappelle

Dave Chappelle's latest Netflix special, The Closer (and allegedly his last), has once again stirred controversy over the comedians determination not to stop pushing the boundaries of homophobia and transphobia. (Brave!) This sounds familiar? Netflix has publicly reacted to the special by releasing a number of trans employees who have cut all ties with them.
This is yet another example of the irony of cancelling a service. Many comedians who are actually mocked don't have the same access to the spotlight. Perhaps that is what cancel culture really looks like. It searches for trans comedians to watch on Netflix, and instead of finding new faces to watch but pages full of Dave Chappelles material. Who are you really at risk of being silenced

Here are our top trans and genderqueer comedians.

Notes: This is not an exhaustive list and it is missing some highly talented comics. If you are on Twitter, please do yourself a favor by following everyone in this thread. Unfortunately, not all of the slides will include quick links to streaming specials on major streaming sites. But that's the point.
