Staples' weekly ad has been released. This Sunday, Staples will offer $200 Mastercard gift cards with no purchase fees. The limit of five gift cards per customer per day remains in effect.

Quick Thoughts
Mastercard gift cards have had a higher number of problems in the past than Visa gift cards. Although I don't have the most recent data, I recommend that you use these as soon as possible. These were also auto-draining in some stores last year, even though the purchase was declined at register. It was eventually resolved but it was a hassle for all involved.
However, it is important to ensure that your card earns the highest category bonuses at office supply shops when you buy. With the Chase Ink Cash card you would earn 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points per $200 Mastercard purchased. You can purchase 5 cards at once, which could give you 5,000 points per day. This could also be a great way to earn spend towards a large spend bonus. This week's ad mentions that the limit is 1 per customer. However, 5 per customer per day is allowed. Although I have never had to buy multiple items at the stores that I frequent, there are areas where the restriction of one per customer has been enforced. I can imagine there being some resistance to the terms in these cases.
