Sam Fender admits to being 'really hungover' in BBC Breakfast interview

Sam Fender, a musician and die-hard Newcastle United fan, has made an appearance on BBC Breakfast despite being "really really, really hungover".
Fender had traveled up to St James' Park to celebrate the club's Saudi Arabian-backed purchase. The club's 14-year-old control by Mike Ashley ended with Thursday's announcement.

In a Newcastle United tracksuit, he spoke to BBC Breakfast. He said that his saxophone player began playing outside and that "5,000 Geordies started singing along".

"I took about 1000 selfies and was surrounded by people. But everyone was very classy and gave us lots of cans. I am really hungry."
