If Critical Role isn't busy creating five million books, original fiction, behind the scenes collections or just adding to their tabletop world, its characters are on the way to becoming animated icons. We got a fresh look at them at New York Comic Con 2021.

We have only seen a few glimpses of Legend of Vox Machina, its designs for the Critical Role heroes, but at NYCC, the cast of the actual-play RPG Show revealed the title sequence and the release date.
The series was originally intended to be a one-off crowdfunded special until critical roles were played and it became one of the most successful Kickstarter projects. The series was expanded to a 10-episode series and, after partnering with Amazon it became a 24-episode, two-series adventure. The key cast members of Critical Role who voiced the characters of Vox MachinaLaura Bai, Taliesin Jaffe and Ashley Johnson will all be returning to voice their characters in the animated series. Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting February 4, 2022.
