'The Simpsons' tease creepy 'Treehouse of Horror' inspired by Edward Gorey

Fox shared a preview of The Simpsons' upcoming episode "Treehouse of Horror XXXII", which was inspired by American pen-and ink illustrator Edward Gorey.
Gorey is well-known for his surrealist, unsettling drawings. This style makes for a great season. This style has been taken by The Simpsons, who have followed a year of mishaps in Springfield.

Gorey's segment will be added to the Treehouse of Horror annual lineup. It is expected that it will parody Parasite and Bambi as well as The Ring.

The Simpsons' "Treehouse of Horror XXXII", Oct. 10, 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
