Madonna's appearance on 'The Tonight Show' escalated very quickly

Madonna stopped by The Tonight Show on Thursday to walk all over Jimmy Fallon and push boundaries between talk-show guests. She also set furniture. The host was not bothered by the incident.
Fallon said that Madonna is the first to do everything, then people take your ideas, but they don't give credit." Fallon also gushed about Madonna’s career. This is funny when you consider Madonna's complicated history with "Vogue" in 1990.

Madonna said, "And they also do it not as well." It sounds arrogant but it is kinda true.

The pop icon was in attendance to promote Madame X, her concert film that offers a behind-the scenes look at her 2019 tour. Madonna also referred to James Baldwin, a Black American activist and author, noting that her inspiration came from his quote "Artists come here to disturb the peaceful."

Baldwin's words were meant to expose frightening societal truths, not to climbing on top of a computer before flashing live to an audience. She seems to have misunderstood her meaning slightly.

Madonna said, "And so I hope I have disturbed not just your peace this afternoon but also the peace of people watching this show." "But I mean it in the best possible way."

Madame X arrives at Paramount+ Oct.
