Barbara Corcoran joked about Whoopi Goldberg's fat-shaming on Thursday's "The View".
Ana Navarro, Goldberg's cohost, was quick to defend her as Goldberg looked stunned.
Corcoran said that "I made a joke about Whoopi's expense, but which I now realize was not funny."
Whoopi Goldberg was shocked into silence by Thursday's fat-shaming joke made by Barbara Corcoran, "The View" star and "Shark Tank” star. Ana Navarro, Goldberg's cohost, quickly came out in her defense.
Goldberg, 65 years old, asked about the jeans when the stars and hosts of Shark Tank were discussing Good American, a US brand of denim. (Emily Grede is the founder of the brand) Goldberg then asked about the jeans.
Sunny Hostin and Navarro assured Goldberg that the jeans would fit as per her request. Corcoran then added: "And when your done with those jeans and decide that you don't love them, give them back to me. I will make two pairs.
Visibly inconsolable, Goldberg was silent.
Navarro quickly jumped on Goldberg's side, making a joke at Corcoran by saying: "Let us just tell you something: Sara Haines & Jill Biden wore this dress live on TV."
