EA Sports rated Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady to a 99 overall rating on Madden NFL 2022.

Although the ratings boost is temporary, it means that he is now one of seven players in the 99 club for this year's videogame.

Brady joins Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs' superstar quarterback, as the only quarterbacks rated 99 overall. This is fitting considering they both appear on the game's cover.

This ratings adjustment follows the 22nd season of the NFL's most important and emotional regular-season game.

After playing for the Pats for twenty seasons, Brady was back at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro last week to face the New England Patriots.

Although Brady didn't throw for 269 yards, he did not have any touchdowns or interceptions, and he only completed 22-of-43 passes. However, the Bucs won 19-17.

Most importantly, Brady was able to surpass Drew Brees as the all-time leader of passing yards in NFL history.

Brady, 44 years old, continues to play at an elite level. He once again has the Bucs in Super Bowl contention following his win last season.

Through four games, the Buccaneers are 3-1. Brady is second in the NFL for passing yards (1,356), and third in passing touchdowns (10).

It is hard to argue with his inclusion in the 99 club, given his performance record and his status as the best quarterback of all-time.
