Rumours suggest that Apple will host an event in October to reveal new MacBook Pro models, a redesign of the Mac mini and third-generation AirPods. Although the exact date has not been confirmed by Apple, the timing of the event is being rumored to be October. This gives us an idea when the event could take place.
Apple announced the iPhone 13 line-up, Apple Watch Series 7, sixth-generation iPad mini and ninth-generation iPad at an event held on Tuesday, September 14. Apple hosted three events last fall: in September, October and November. The first ever November event featured the introduction of the M1 chip to the Macs.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman suggested this fall that Apple would host two events. The second event will be focused on the Mac. A 2021 Apple event would be held in October, as the company has hosted an October event in seven of the ten previous years.

Apple events are usually held on Tuesdays. Invites are sent out one week prior to the event to media. Although it was originally thought that Apple's Back to School promotion might have suggested that the event might be held on Tuesday October 12, invites were not yet sent so an October 12 event is now impossible to rule out. There are only two options available for this month's event:

Invites could be sent on Tuesday, Oct 12, or Tuesday, Oct 19, for events on October 19 and 26. Google has announced that its next Pixel event will be held on October 19. While Apple could opt to compete with Google's event but Apple prefers dates closer to the end, October 26 seems more likely. Although November is still possible, it seems that Apple's last products will launch in late October, based on past events.
