Variety reports Kathryn Hahn could reprise her role as WandaVision's villain. She is an ancient sorceress that manipulated Wandas stay at Westview to allow her to use powerful chaos magic. This spinoff series will be available on Disney+. The series will be executive produced and written by Jac Schaeffer, WandaVision's head writer.
It was no surprise that WandaVisions finale would be the last time we see Agatha Harkness, given Hahns prominence as WandaVision's breakout character. Wanda defeated Agatha in a battle for magical wills at WandaVision's end, leaving Agatha to continue living the fantasy life she had created with Vision. Agatha no longer recognized herself as Wanda's centuries-old witch who tried to manipulate Wanda. Instead, she was simply referred to as Wanda's former neighbor, Agnes. It remains to be determined if this standalone series will explore Agatha's past as a witch or just her present life after WandaVision.
There is still much to be told about Agathas story, so any chance to see Kathryn Hahn in the magical witchy robes is a great move for Marvels Disney+ plans. Even though it may take a while to see it considering all the streaming shows coming from Marvel Studios, it will be exciting.
