Everyday, NFTs seem to be undergoing enhancements which is accelerating their meteoric rise. The digital collectible market has seen a new innovation: an NFT, which is essentially a digital museum.
The Museum of Digital Life (MoDaL) was created by XR studio Delta Reality and is a self-contained, metaverse. At the time of its launch, 12 art pieces were contained within the digital museum's digital confines. These include 2D images, videos and interactive objects. The space was designed by a group of engineers and artists. MoDaL is a virtual environment that combines the artistic with the technological.
Darian Skarica is the founder of Delta Reality. He says that digital art and NFTs hold a huge undiscovered potential. "Our goal was not to demonstrate the vastness of digital art. It was also created as an NFT by MoDaL to ensure it has a life and that it grows with each change of hands.
MoDaL's "growth" is a result of a fundamental feature: It's an ever-evolving area that will continue to be filled with new animations, art and environments.
The museum appears to be a digital paradise at first glance. The museum has a modern minimalist aesthetic with glowing forests, integrated gardens and polychromatic animations. It is a far cry from most museums we are familiar with.
You would be able to access all files, assets and codes in MoDaL if you purchase the museum. While the future owner will not be able to modify the metaverse or add to it, they will have access to the files and assets through MoDaL. Each sale will be followed by a chain of collaboration.
What can you do inside the digital museum? The digital museum is a place that can be explored at your leisure. Interact with other guests. Below is a glimpse at the amazing museum.
