Anker’s new Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro earbuds support high-quality LDAC audio

Today, Ankers Soundcore is updating its flagship true wireless earbuds by introducing the $169.99 Liberty 3 Pros. The earbuds and the slider-style charging case are very similar to the Liberty 2 Pros. However, the Liberty 3 Pros have a 30% smaller size and an air pressure relief structure in the wingtips. Anker has made significant improvements to their features: The new earbuds offer active noise cancellation that you would expect at this price, and the HearID ANC is optimized for comfort and efficiency. Anker claims that it monitors the outside noise and takes into account the pressure inside the ear. This allows the ANC level to adapt to the environment.
The dual-driver acoustic architecture used in the Liberty 3 Pros has been improved. These earbuds, along with Sony's WF-1000XM4s, offer enhanced audio quality due to their support of the LDAC codec. LDAC is not a common feature on wireless earbuds, but aptX HD is. This will hopefully be the beginning of a new trend. AAC and SBC codescs are also supported.

Anker claims that the charging case charges can charge wirelessly and that the earbuds can play for up to six hours with ANC enabled. The earbuds can also be used with eight hours with it off. Additional storage is available for either 24 or 32 hours. Anker claims that the case's fast charging capabilities can provide three hours of playback, if you plug it in and charge the earbuds via USB-C for only 15 minutes.

Anker will offer the Liberty 3 Pros four colors: black, silver, grey, and purple. They are IPX4 rated for sweat and water resistance, and come in three transparency modes to help you be more aware of the environment. The buds can be ordered starting today. Becca reviewed the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros earlier this year. They have a more AirPods-esque look and are priced at $130. They are a great product at a fair price, as is the case with Anker. Anker will have to compete with many worthy alternatives, even though the Liberty 3 Pros are a bit more expensive.
