Hibernian failed to appeal against Ryan Porteous' red card in Sunday's 2-1 loss by Rangers at Ibrox.
In the 30th minute, Hibs led 1-0 and the 22-year-old defender was taken off for a tackle against Joe Aribo.
Steven Gerrard, Rangers manager, said that the challenge was "wild" and added: "It's an arm-breaking tackle if it catches him."
Porteous will be suspended from Premiership games against Dundee United, and Dundee United.
Jack Ross, Hibs' head coach, said that Porteous received his "absolute support" after the match.
Ross stated that Nick Walsh was referredee because Ryan "gives him a decision to take."
"I do not necessarily agree with the decision, but I understand why it was made.
"He's made great strides over the past year and a quarter, but he's going back to learn from this one."
