Destiny 2 arrives on Xbox Game Pass for PC on October 12th

Destiny 2 will finally arrive on Xbox Game Pass for PC in the latter part of this month. The looter shooter is already available on Xbox Game Pass on Xbox consoles for over a year. PC gamers have waited patiently for it to arrive on Xbox Game Pass on PC. Microsoft will now bundle Destiny 2: Beyond Light onto Xbox Game Pass for PC starting October 12th.
Bungie, the developer of Destiny 2, made clear optimizations to the console version on Xbox Series X last summer. The game supports 4K resolution at 60fps both on the Xbox Series X as well as the PS5. While the PC version will not differ from the one on Steam, cross-play players will now see a new Windows logo alongside Xbox Game Pass PC players.

Bungie already confirmed that Destiny 2 will contain the Beyond Light DLC, which has stasis-freezing capabilities, but Bungie also stated that Witch Queen, Destiny 2's next major expansion, won't be available via Xbox Game Pass at launch. Destiny 2: Witch Queen will continue the sci-fi series' story and have players face off against Savathn the Witch Queen. Destiny 2: The witch queen launches February 22nd 2022.
