Watch as Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen testifies before the Senate

Frances Haugen from Facebook, whistleblower, leaked internal investigations to The Wall Street Journal as well as the U.S. Congress. She will be testifying before a Senate subcommittee on Tuesday.
The Journal recently discovered that executives at the company knew the negative effects of Instagram on younger users, including an increase in suicidal thoughts. The Journal reported that 6 percent of American users had a desire to commit suicide via Instagram.

Haugen was unmasked on Sunday ahead of an interview that she did with her on "60 Minutes."

Antigone Davis, Facebook's global head for safety, testified last week before the Senate. The lawmakers decided that Instagram shouldn't create an app specifically for children.

You can watch the hearing below starting at 10 a.m. ET.
