Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals quarterback, has been voted the favorite to win NFL MVP at U.S. betting sites. Mahomes is now the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

Murray is +550 and the favourite to win the Associated Press' regular season MVP award at Caesars Sportsbook. Mahomes is at +600 followed by Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills quarterback, at +800. Each are +900 for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, and Green Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Since the start of the season, when odds were first offered on MVP, Mahomes was the consensus favorite. Mahomes and Chiefs are currently 2-2. However, the Cardinals are now 4-0 behind Murray. Murray has attracted more bets for the MVP than any other player in Caesars Sportsbook's history since the start of the season.

Murray started the season at 25-1 to win MVP. But he quickly rose up the ranks and became a top-tier favorite, reaching 10-1 after Week 1.

Murray has completed 76.1%, accounting for 12 touchdowns and Mahomes for 15. Each quarterback has thrown four interceptions in this season.

Other quarterbacks are also rising at sportsbooks. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams' quarterback, has gone up from +2,000 to+1,100 at Caesars and Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys quarterback), has gone up from +1.200 to+1,100.

Caesars' largest bet on its MVP market is $20,000 on Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks quarterback at +1500.

In 13 of the 14 previous seasons, a quarterback has been awarded the award.
