Apple has revealed the date when you can purchase an Apple Watch Series 7. Pre-orders open this Friday, October 8, at 8 AM ET. The $399 device will be available one-week later, on October 15th.
This year's biggest change is the larger, always-on display. Apple has increased the size options for cases to 41mm and 45mm, while also reducing the bezel down to 1.7mm. The larger screen allows for a more intuitive user interface, which includes a swipe-based QWERTY keyboard as well as two additional watch faces.
The battery life is identical to the Apple Watch Series 6. Apple claims that the battery will last for 18 hours with a single charge. However, the Series 7 will be able to charge it up to 33 percent quicker. You have more color options.
The Apple Watch this year is more rugged than the previous models. Apple's first smartwatch has an IP6X dust rating. Series 7's screen is now more resistant to cracks and water resistance to 50 meters.
