Apple might launch new MacBook Pro in October

Apple's iPhone 13 event is over. The company will now focus on other devices in the lineup such as the MacBook Pro or Mac mini.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says Apple will likely launch new MacBook Pro laptops in the "coming weeks." Gurman claims that Apple usually launches new Macs in October. He also gives details about the upcoming MacBooks (via MacRumors).

Gurman describes the new M1X chip as a "likely" name for an "intensely graphics-intense, professional-focused M1X chip." M1X will likely be available in two versions, with either 16 or 32 GPU cores and both having 10 CPU cores.

Gurman isn't so certain about the Mac mini. It has been long-rumored that it will launch with the M1X chip. He believes it will happen "at some time."

Apple launched its first MacBooks with the Apple M1 chip last year at a November event. This was in addition to its October iPhone launch event. Apple also released an updated Mac mini with the M1 chip.

Apple is rumored also to be working on new AirPods of the third generation, in addition to the new MacBooks, and possibly the Mac mini.
