Tyson Fury to fight in UK again after Deontay Wilder bout, says co-promoter Frank Warren

This weekend, Tyson Fury will fight in Las Vegas
Frank Warren believes that Tyson Fury will fight in the UK's next bout after his fight against Deontay wilder.

Since 2018, the WBC heavyweight champion has never fought on domestic soil.

Fury, 33 years old, made America his home boxing when he signed a long-term contract with Top Rank and ESPN. He has competed in the United States four times.

"There are no Yanks for him to fight. Warren, co-promoter of BBC Sport, said that he believes he will return to the UK. It will be a wonderful homecoming."

Fury must beat American Wilder, 35 on Saturday in Las Vegas. The 'Gypsy King,' who is the odds-on favorite to win, will be cautious of an upset after seeing Anthony Joshua lose to Oleksandr Usyk last month at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

"If Tyson wins, we'll sit down." Warren stated that there are a few options. "Usyk would make a huge fight here. Joshua is still a huge fight.

"Dillian Whyte is a huge fight, provided he beats Otto Wallin, which is not a forgone conclusion. He has some big fights."

Joshua's fight appears to be the only one left. Talks about a fight to unify heavyweight titles last summer ended. Joshua now has to reclaim the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts that he lost in the rematch to Usyk. This bout is scheduled to take place in February 2022.

Warren believes that the fight could still take place, even though he doesn't think Joshua can beat Fury.

He stated, "I believe that the public buys into this fight even if AJ doesn't win." "AJ has said a lot since the fight [and] a lot more nonsense from 'doctor Eddie] Hearn regarding his eye.

Joshua said Joshua was the better man that night, and you got beaten by him.

"Joshua is a great fighter. They talk about how he is still learning. He is 32 years old. He is an Olympic champion and a world champion.

"Of course, you can still learn every single day, but at that age, at 32 years old, with all the experience and professional fights that you have, if your not world-class at that level then there's no way to get there."

"But, having said that, if Tyson were to fight him, he would have much to prove and I believe the public would be open to it."
